The NCMTA Young Composer Composition Contest offers an opportunity for composing students to compete at the state level. Students who place in this event (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention) are invited to perform at the NCMTA Young Composers State Recital, held at the annual fall NCMTA State Conference.
